Vive l'Animation!

L'animation de Ben from a week of production with the students of La Poudrière.
They needed us to make some cool animations, that will help them pitch their ideas for a TV series.
This project is called Mister Stan, and it's a kind of an adaptation from the French book “OUST ou l’insupportable monsieur Stan”.
Only the animation and cleanup is by me.
Sant'e!

Flash Animation

Flash is not my favorite animation tool, but at least we get to see the animation fully colored and cleaned and I had some fun trying to play with it's limitations.
So I used this opportunity to test a character that I designed a while ago, you can see the post on this link.

Then I had to design a character answering to this sentence: "A 52 years old Canadian woman, unemployed, looking super tired, wearing a leather jacket".
And I made her walk:

Character Design For Short Film 'PLAYER TWO'

Wohoooo we are finally finished with our Short-Short Film projects!
This project is a collaboration between the two lines of study : Character Animation and Computer Graphic Arts. We were working in groups of 7 during the last 4 weeks to create a 30 sec long film for kids, using random elements that we were given.
Here is a teaser, next week we will post the final film

My part in the pre-production was character design together with Sofie Kaas-Larsen , and the guidelines were to mix between the style of Takashi Murakami and J.Otto Seibold.
The story is of a girl named Pix and her older brother Bitt, here are the final designs:
